Aqua Technology Group provided a replacement water booster station flow meter / differential pressure transmitter (DP Transmitter). The existing application used a BIF Universal Venturi Tube to provide flow indication to an older Foxboro d/p Cell / Flow Transmitter that had failed. ATG replaced the old Foxboro transmitter with a new Rosemount differential pressure transmitter and hardware designed to directly bolt up to the existing venturi tube piping. This flowmeter setup allowed for a rapid deployment by our field engineer and the booster station flow meter being placed immediately into service. The output of the D/P Cell feeds into a local RTU where the flow meter’s 4-20 mA signal is scaled and totalized before being sent to the rest of the SCADA system for control and analysis.
