Campbell Scientific Vacuum Sampler Troubleshooting
How to troubleshoot a water sampler that will not pull a sample into the metering chamber.
Check the following:
* The pinch valve for operation
* The sampler chamber for leaks
* The intake hose for leaks
* Meter chamber lid O-ring
* The pressure on intake hose with a vacuum gauge
Campbell Scientific Sampler Controller Troubleshooting
If the Campbell Scientific water sampler controller keypad is unresponsive or the display is incorrect:
* Remove the sampler controller cover
* Locate and press the reset button
* Replace the internal battery when it measures less than 2.6 Vdc
* Check the power coming into the controller. It should be 13 to 14 Vdc
* Reprogram the controller if required
* Change the purge time if required
Power Supply and Pump Troubleshooting
If the Campbell Scientific Sampler Pump or Power Supply Troubleshooting:
* Access the sampler power supply and pump
* Check the voltage in and out
* Check for pump leaks
* Determine if pump electrical brushes and wiring need to be replaced
* Locate the pump diaphragm and determine if it needs to be replaced
